The brief

Managing and sharing real-time event media often presents a major challenge for modern brands and event organizers. For IOI (Innovative Online Industries), a digital agency based in Harare, Zimbabwe, the Event Share platform was created to eliminate the friction of fragmented media sharing and slow event web portals. Traditional platforms often suffer from poor performance, heavy media load times, and weak mobile responsiveness, leaving attendees disengaged and event teams struggling to deliver a cohesive online presence. To solve this, our web engineering team built a custom Next.Js and React website tailored for lightning-fast speeds, dynamic image rendering, and smooth user interaction. Utilizing Next.Js enabled server-side rendering and optimized asset delivery, ensuring that Event Share loads reliably across diverse mobile networks in Zimbabwe and beyond. The intuitive React frontend provided a clean, modern user interface, allowing event goers to browse, upload, and interact with high-resolution photo galleries and live updates effortlessly. The result is a high-performing digital platform that transforms how event moments are shared and preserved. IOI delivered full-stack web strategy, UI/UX design, custom React frontend development, and cloud deployment for this project. Event Share now stands as a showcase of modern web development capabilities in Harare, dramatically reducing page load times, increasing post-event interaction, and providing a seamless digital solution for local and international gatherings.
